Why Do We Condition?

Conditioning is an important aspect of cheerleading. By doing strength and flexibility exercises our cheerleaders improve their overall fitness level. Strength and muscle control is so important to be able to perform competitive cheerleading and dance routines while aiding in the prevention of injury.

Exercises you can do at home:

  • Cardio (run, jog, jump rope, etc.)
  • Wall Sits
  • Push Ups
  • Crunches/V-Ups/Bicycles
  • Splits
  • Leg Lifts
  • Bridges
